I am having a problem opening mpegs in video factory and opening mpeg video cds I created in video factory. They worked when I made them and now they won't open. With the cds I get a message that a software component can't be found. With mpegs going into Video Factory I get an error message of "unable to open" or the "COM object failed to initialize". Can anyone tell me how to fix this. I found a post about DirectX8 and tested that on my computer and tests came back that it works correctly. I did reinstall Video Factory and the problem persits. I have version 1 with mpeg plug ins. I don't know what to try next.
