I have installed Vegas Video 3.0 on Win 98 SE and on Win 2000. When I try printing to tape, everything works fine in 98. But the problems in 2000 starts with forcing me to choose manual queing. After this, the program usually says that over 80% of the project needs prerendering, and starts an hourly-long process where the camera usually shuts down. After that, Vegas usually freezes and I will have to reboot the machine.
I have Win 2000, fast disks, 512 Mb RAM, 1.7 GHz processor, DirectX 8.1 and the same video capture card as the one on the 98 machine.
Help, anyone?
