Can't pull clip down

I'm resizing a video clip but can't bring it or pull it up or down. I can go from right to left with it but not up or down. This has just started happening. Can't figure out what I've done. Anyone know what's going on? Thanks.

Oh, I'm using SVMS 11.

I'm not sure what you're asking, chas.

Are you working with the Pan/Crop Motion tool?

What type of camcorder did your video come from?

If it's a still photo, have you ensured the photo is no larger than 1000x750 pixels in size?

Yes, I'm using the pan/crop feature. I've had no problem with this until the last few days.

I click the small square on the video clip (pan/crop) and then resize the clip to the area I want to show. Then I get the mouse and try to drag the clip down some to get the area I want to show. Can't drag down or up. I can drag the clip from left to right but not up or down. Doesn't matter if it's a video clip or jpeg, same thing.Hope I'm being clear. I don't know what else to say. Thanks for your assistance.

That's because you clicked by mistake the last icon on the pan/crop vertical bar, on the left. You need to click it again twice, to get to "move freely X/Y".

Thanks, Eugenia. That did it. I knew I had probably clicked something but couldn't for the life of me figure it out.
