can't record in 24 bit!

has anyone had a problem with recording in 24 bit?

I was working fine with win98, but when I installed win2k I have had a problem where I can't record in 24 bit. The error message that appears (sometimes) says that the ahrdware device can't support the bit rate or the sample frequency. (BUT I know it can, because it was working on win98!)

Anyone got any suggestions?

I am using a MOTU 2408 mkII

Have you updated motu drivers?

I don't know all that much about the Motu card you mentioned, but I assume it is capable of doing 24 bit sound?
