Can't Render to Quicktime DV

I am attempting to render a 10 minute AVI video to Quicktime. I am using the default setting.
When I get about 1/3 through the render, I get an error of either what I am saving to has write protect on or is full. I have attempted to render to two different drives, one with 6.5 GB free and the other with 10.5 GB free.
I regularly render AVI, MPG 1 and MPG 2 file with no problems.

Any ideas what the problem might be.

I've got a sneaking suspicion that you're rendering uncompressed, and that your drive IS full.

Your suspicion is correct. I rendered a 1 minute region of the video and it created a 2.43 GB file.

What settings should I use to produce a Quicktime render and get good quality? The 3 Mbpps template using the QDesign compression.

Thanks,
