I've been working with Movie Studio 4 for a short time and find some things baffling. I have one frame with a glitch and want to replace it with a duplicate of the frame before it. I tried this on a copy of the project in Premiere 6 and it was simple to do and looked fine.
In Vegas I sometimes have trouble locating and seeing the frame--and sometimes it's perfectly visible. Just now I removed the frame by splitting the track on both edges of the frame. Then I copied and pasted the frame before it--but the new frame looked like the one I removed, with glitches. I pasted the duplicated good frame directly above the good frame I copied it from and it looked fine--but when I slid it above the spot where the bad frame had been, it again had glitches. Other clips and tracks are affected when I do these moves. I think I can solve that--though I wouldn't mind suggestions on how to prevent it.
How can I make this simple substitution?
