Can't Seem To Render a Twenty Three Minute Movie: Help Someone!

Well, I've finished my project and only get through 80% rendering. An error message that says "an error has
occurred while writing the file. Make sure you have write access to the file/folder and that there is enough free
space". So what's wrong? Also, the render file is only 3.99gigs and I have Windows Millenium Edition!
Someone please tell me what I need to do to fully render this project. Here's my set up:

Sony Vaio 866 Pentium III
256MB, 20 GIGS
Windows Mellinium

the file limit in the FAT32 filesystem used by 9x/Me is 4G. you need an NTFS operating system (NT 4.0 or
win2k) or a utility to mount your drive as NTFS under the 9x kernel, which doesn't always work out well.

alternatvely, you could just cut your project into two halves, or lower the bitrate to make the whole thing fit under
4G.

Patrick,

Isn't Windows Millenium the latest version? And how do I lower the birate or break the project into two halves?
Sorry: Newbie.
