Can't use captured video.

Ok everyone I hit another roadblock. After completing my first DVD, which turned out great, I decided to add more video to it and burn it again. I captured the rest of the digital tape from my camera and saw the rest of the files in the capture screen. Than I tried to add them to the Media Pool, when I do It just put in a square with the Quicktime logo in the middle and file name below it. there is no picture of the clip and it wont let me do anything with it. Is there somthing wrong or I'm I forgetting something. I'm new a beginner at this, can you please help me.
Thanks
Rich

How did you try adding the clips to the media pool?

I've no idea what's going on, but you could try dragging a clip onto the time line from Windows Explorer and see if that tells you anything useful.

I right clicked on the image in the capture screen and selected add to Media Pool. In the Media Pool I tried double clicking and draging to the timeline it wont do anything. there is no image in the media pool just a Quicktime file.

Odd! I usualy go to the media pool and select / import my captured clips from there, so that's another option, and there's still drag and drop from Win Explorer to try.

I experienced the same issue, I had captured by opening the capture program with it's own executable. Then closed it opened MS and used the Add media button. I only got file names and the logo, but all I had to do to fix it was close MS and reopen it.
