I have been using my DVD burner to burn DVD -R discs for about 4 years using a combination of Nero and Pinnacle Studio Plus. When I install Sony Vegas 7 and DVD Architect 4 I am no longer able to burn a DVD in any program (Architect, Nero, Studio). I now get a message: "The disc is not of a media type that is supported by this device". When I uninstall Vegas and DVD Architect I can then use Nero and Studio to burn DVD's again. I have a Memorex 8X burner with the latest firmware and am using Win XP Service Pack 2. Any thoughts on what could be causing it?? I upgraded the firmware on the burner to try to see if that was it.
