Can't view the "Help" - "Contents and I

I am running Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum Version 11 with windows 7 on 64-bit.
After I updated my program to (Build 247), I can no longer view the "Help" - "Contents and Index" option. When I select it...nothing come into view. Any suggestions?

Did you uninstall an older version after installing the new version?
It's a bug that sometimes occurs that the Help files are wiped.
Re-installing the new version on top of itself will restore the Help if that's what caused it.

I just got my box and that happened to me when I deleted the old free download, re-install fixed it for me.

I have the same problem after installing VMS 11 platinum.... I left the older version 9 platinum, having more projects to be edited ... but I have a project that definitely needs the 11 version...RIGHT NOW , as I tried to edit it with the version 9 and it kept on "seeing"red...literally and kept on shutting down...
So, my question are.... can the VMS 11 platinum be used for my HD mini cassettes projects? my new projects will be AVCHD format.
Will I be able to go back to these older RENDERED projects and the DVD architect 4.5 once the older VMS 9 is removed?
If I can use the newer version... do I have to Uninstall and reinstall. ?
