can this be done with Architect pro?

Hi - I'm using DVD Architect pro 5 and have to say I love it - build both my DVDs and Blu-rays with it. But, now I'm wondering if I can do something with it a little different. I'm building an interactive map for a War of 1812 web site. And, I want to export the project as .swf or flash so I can embed it into the web site. I know I can do it in Encore but really can't stand that program. Can I do this with my Sony software that I love so much?

Thanks.

well rats! I figured as much... next question is... any thoughts on another program besides Encore?

Thanks,

Dale.

From your description, it sounds like you're not really looking for DVD authoring software at all.

I think you want Adobe Flash, the software used to designed the vast majority of interactive SWF files on the Web.

Options are limited since Adobe owns Flash. They keep kind of a tight lid on the code to build SWF files. Anyhow, Flash-based websites are so last-decade. ;-) If it were me, honestly, I'd just re-create the content of the DVD in a suitable web format -- giving the same basic media and design, but using a tech that will be friendly to web viewers. (Don't forget mobile browsers, some of which can't access Flash.)

But that's just me, and I can understand if time and resources don't allow for a separate web project.
