No. However you can export in several web friendly formats that can be streamed. Microsoft WMV format is supported and so too Real Media. You can embed a player on a web page or just launch a player in another window. If you haven't already visit Chienworks Video Share site where lots of people from the forums post demo projects usually wmv format to get an idea of the quality level. The problem is a lot of people still have low bandwidth so you need to keep that in mind otherwise they won't stick around waiting for the video to load and generally you should never force them by auto loading. Always make it a choice.
not directly but if you really needed to you could do it, you could export an image sequence using the render image sequence script, then render out the audio as a wav or mp3 and import all the images and the audio into flash.
I have used video in flash, check out the header flash I made on at Reggae Nation
takes a while to load and you really need to watch the number of frames you use and the resolution. That header runs at about 10fps and the resolution is very low, just stretched to fit the shape I needed. Also black and white images work much better as far as keeping the size small.
The reasons for doing video inside of flash like this as opposed to embeding actual video is that you can work video into the actual page layout of your website.
First, Purchase Sorenson Squeeze for Flash MX. This program is excellent for turning video files into "flash video" files. which as the above post stated, you can place into your actual layout and play with them. You can import video files into Flash MX as well, but the quality and options are better in the actual Sorenson Squeeze product. GO here for some examples:
Hehe, thanks for the compliments; I am in the process of remodeling the site and that bar is number 1 on the "fix" list (it was a quick fix that worked for now). =)
