Trigger intelligent lighting systems.
I believe this is through midi.
In other words to control lighting systems through cues
from multitrack.I am asking this for a client who is
looking to take a computer on the road with him so it would
run his whole show;intro,songs,light cues,etc.
I hear it is not impossible to do this just curious to know
before I suggest the sale for Sonic!!!;-)

You can but it's different.....not sure if better or
worse.....but, different.I would say to have a sequencer
chase MTC with Vegas as the master.....Vegas is for
audio....but with the sync, just use another program and
your standard (MOTU MTP AV Kicks Ass!) MIDI interface to
chase Vegas or vice versa with Vegas chaseing.....I think
Vegas would be better as the lead though. Try that?
