OK... I need all you Vegas 5 wizards out there to feast your eyes on this. I have a potential client who sent me this e-mail. It is verbatim. Please let me know if what he's asking can be done. Note the tight time frame. MUCH APPRECIATED!!

We're looking for advice, external help, anything to make a custom stereo (left and right eye) DVD. We have a video project here where we're trying to take the L/R images from a current stereo DVD and reformat it. Our current stereo DVDs are interlaced where even and odd frames are for left and right eyes and our hardware separates it out.
Our new products are higher resolution and we want to double the resolution of newer content. However, until then, we have to reformat our existing content for a series of demos in Asia over the following weeks.
Here's what we need done.
* Start with existing content - rip a DVD, AVI, whatever (it's stereo iMAX and they want us to do it - but we have no letter)
* Deinterlace frames
* Scale (vertical line double)
* Change the first scan line of video in each Left Eye frame to encode data to be read by our player (will be cut out of final video by our hardware). For now, one eye is just black for all colors for the first line of video. The other eye is blue/black alternating every 10
or so pixels.
* Write 60fps frame sequential (deinterlaced) stereo data to a DVD for playback on generic players
The end result is a 30fps full frame video to each eye (60 fps total throughput). Our hardware will pick out the blue/black encoding on the first line as mentioned to determine which frame goes to which eye.
Of course, we need this by the end of the week.
