It appears that the answer is no. But why not install the trial version of Vegas Pro 19 and test it out for yourself?
In any event, those audio formats could possibly be transcoded to a Vegas Pro-friendly format via a transcoding utility.
Thank you so much.
I did purchased Vegas Pro 19 for one month, that's why I found out OMF or AAF is not included in the render/export functions. I thought I might miss something, but now, I guess I have to find another way to do OMF/AAF.
Legacy versions of VP 'supported' AAF, but it was never even close to being reliable.
I use the third-party AATranslater application to covert <.veg> or other project files to a compatible import or export format. I always asked clients to send an OMF for audio, The the converted file(s) into VP (via a VEG or XML) was 99% reliable. I am a audio person so I did not deal with import/export video conversion, I just dragged the locked video edit file to the timeline for picture reference and to verify audio sync.
Just found this thread - I'm in urgent need to work with either AAF, OMF from an multitrack audio project that needs to be synched to multicam. Is there a solution in the meantime or do I need to buy AAtranslator? I find it rather weird that Vegas can't work with AAF.
