Yes,
I've worked on it, VV handled it just great. Video was shot using 2 PD150s on a special mount. No zooming obviously but pans were OK. Dropped video from both cameras onto timline as video track one and two. Used clapper board to get in sync, to check we set top track 50% so we could see both images at once.
We had to speed some of the shots up, VV was 100% accurate.
I believe final video is on permanant display at the Sydney Observatory in the 3D cinema. Definately worth a look, not so much fro the stuff I did but the 3D renditions of NASA images of the planets and the graphics are spectacular. Its done with two projectors with polarizing filters and a special screen. Audience wears matching polarizing glasses. Best use of 3D I've ever seen, the illusion of Mars sitting over the head of the person in front of you in HiRes is stunning.
Most of the show is done using HiRes stills which come off DVD, tends to make the video look a little sad, would have been nice if they had the budget for two HiDef video cameras.
