What? Compositing? Absolutely and very easily. Vegas will see the alpha channel just fine and allow lower tracks to show through just as shown there.

Sure. As far as the compositing goes. Now, if you're talking about the native support for 3D objects and text, then no.

Man, it has been a long, long time since I had to look at a "Source" window in an NLE. I kept thinking "that looks wierd what the heck is that there for?"

I think the difference was the partial opacity and motion blur that seem better then I have seen in VV..

on the 3d + integration, i suppose the best we have is boris....too bad boris is still not correctly integrated with vv.....

Actually you can have support for some 3D object types by using the Wax plugin in Vegas.
