Yes, Vegas Video 3.0 will open your Video Factory 2.0 projects. It's a good idea to save them as Vegas Video projects after you load them.

Right. VideoFactory 1.0 and 2.0 use a '.vf' extension for project files. These can be read by Vegas Video 3.0. But Vegas will only save '.veg' project files.
