I'm upgrading from Video Factory2 to VV3. Can I use my projects from VF2? I hate to lose all projects I've previously created.
As an alternative, can I keep working on the VF2 projects I have in progress while also installing VV3 on the same machine?
Thanks!
Excellent News!
I've been afraid to install the upgrade until I was all finished with all my projects I'm currently working on - and some will bever be finished!
Really? Hmmmm. When i saved a VideoFactory project from Vegas, it
was saved with a .veg extension instead of .vf, and the old .vf file was
still on my drive untouched. Or did i just get lucky?
Hey Walts my almost-neighbor! I'm about 4 hours east of you, but only
an inch of snow so far here. I hope you get yourself dug out soon.
Right. VideoFactory 1.0 and 2.0 use a '.vf' extension for project files. These can be read by Vegas Video 3.0. But Vegas will only save '.veg' project files.
