can we please have e better keyframe timeline handling?

HI all,

I think this has been brought up several times already, but hasn't ever been addressed afaik, and I still get a bit frustrated every time I encounter this small but annoying thing .

So say you work in the pan crop / mask window and need to move or copy a very precise keyframe, exactly to where the cursor is. Now, the problem is that as soon as you click on the keyframe you want to copy or move, the cursor moves there and loses its location you set it to to paste or move the keyframe to. So the precise location of where the cursor is set to move the keyframe to is gone and you need to close the window and reposition it.

The other thing is that whenever you change anything in the crop or pan, a keyframe is instantly created. That might be useful in specific situations, but not really as a default workflow. Sometimes I just try out different crops at a certain location and don't instantly want it to be keyframed there.

So could we please have the option to deactivate auto keyframe generation, and to select / activate wether we want the cursor to auto move to the clicked location or not?

That would be such a great little worklfow aid!

Thanks!

@Mindmatter Right click & drag moves the keyframe without moving the cursor
