Can we use Adjustment Events as Nodes like we use in Davinci Resolve?

Hi everyone,

I need your honest and practical input — no biased opinions please.

I’ve been using VEGAS Pro for a long time and I genuinely enjoy working on it. I am not interested in switching to other editing software unless there is a real, practical limitation that affects professional-level work.

I have a few doubts and would really appreciate clear answers from experienced users:

1. Color Correction & Grading

Can VEGAS Pro achieve the same level of color correction and cinematic grading as DaVinci Resolve?
If yes, what are the limitations (if any) in real-world workflows?

2. Node-Based Workflow Alternative

Since Resolve uses node-based grading, can adjustment events or any other method in VEGAS Pro replicate a similar flexible workflow?
Or is it fundamentally limited compared to node systems?

3. Render Quality & Output
If the same footage is rendered across different software (VEGAS, Premiere, Resolve) using identical settings, effects, and hardware —
will VEGAS Pro match the output quality?
Or is there any actual difference in encoding, compression efficiency, or color accuracy?

I’m not looking for brand loyalty answers — just real-world experience and facts.

Thanks in advance.
