Can you edit a .wma video on the vegas timeline?

Here's the scoop. I created a Virtual Video Tour about 8 months ago
of a house for real estate agent "A"

8 months later agent "A" was replaced by agent "B". My problem is
that in the ending credits I acknowledge agent "A", I now need to
edit to acknowledge agent "B".

Keep in mind, I DON'T have the original footage and I will NOT be
re-videotaping the property.

PLEASE HELP!

Thanks,

Alex

Absolutely you can, unless you've got DRM inserted to the WMV file. You'll lose some quality, but it's better than having "Agent A's" name in there, I guess.

Sorry Spot, I should have been more specific. I tried working
on a .wma video but the video quality was terrible! When I view
the video using Windows Media Player it looks fine. When I
view the video on the Vegas timeline it looks horrible, even when
I use the Best monitor setting. I guess what I need to know is
if there is some kind of setting I need to do in Vegas "before" i insert the
video on the timeline?

Thnaks.

Resize your project to the same size as the wmv. (If it's a video file, it's wmv)

Hello Spot, Late last night I had a thought. I inserted the video into
Microsoft's latest version of Movie Maker, cut out the old credit, saved it, DONE!

Thanks for your help. By the way, I did try to change the settings in
new project properties, still had the same problem.
