Can you re-save markers w/o re-rendering?

Here's a little annoying thing: I rendered 1-hour's worth of MPEG-2 video, complete with 50 markers in it for import to DVDA. Imported it into DVDA, and it worked fine, all markers and chapter names came in. Then I accidentally clobbered the files that I believe stored the markers (.sfk & .sfl files). So now, all the markers are lost and no longer appear in DVDA. AAARGGHH!!!

My question is, is there a way in VMS to re-save the markers, without having to re-render the video? You would think there would be a simple way to do this. It appears DVDA has a "save markers" option, but I can't find anything similar in VMS.

Am I forced back onto the "re-render video" express train? :(

Thanks

Try rendering just the audio again, making sure that 'save markers in output file' is checked. DVDA seems smart enough to pick the markers up from the audio file if it doesn't see them in the MPEG2 file.
