Can you sell Vegas?

I have been using Vegas since version 4. Upgraded to 7 and more recently to Pro 8, with Cinescore.

My question is can I sell my older copy of Vegas 7 to someone else? Given that there are serial numbers that are registered to me how would this affect someone else installing and getting the software to run on their system?

You can sell your old copy, with Sony's willing support even, your buyer just can't use it to get the upgrade price if you already used it for this.

Contact Customer Support, tell them you're selling your license and who to. They'll deactivate your serial number and issue a new one to the buyer.
