I have the same issue with my HP 6020i...trying to record more than 1
CD doesn't work. When I insert the next blank CD, the green light
fails to stay lit and I'm told that there's no media present. I can
eventually get the CD burner to reset by calling up the "CDDIAG"
utility HP provides and selecting one or more of the testing options.
HP said this wasn't their problem and, since I was out of warranty,
I'd have to pay money to even get to diagnostic resources. I haven't
yet tried Adaptec's product (just got V4), although I generally find
their software much less robust and functional then CDA.
