Cannot finish downloading Microsoft .NET Framework

I can't finish the download on Vegas Movie Studio 13 or Vegas Pro 13. My internet connection is fine. It always gets close to finishing (I've tried this many times on Movie Studio and once on Pro 13, which I'm now trying again) and says to check my internet connection because it failed to finish downloading.

My internet connection is fine. I have Vegas Pro 9-11 installed on my computer. Sony has never been able to help me with customer support.

Is there anything I can do?

Try manually downloading:

Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Standalone Installer)

...and install it. That should satisfy Vegas Pro 13.0.

Thanks, that worked.

Now I have another problem actually running Pro 13, which is that I get a massive "Vegas Pro has stopped working" error. Here's what it says (edit: Uninstalling Vegasaur fixed this).
