Cannot Import NVENC captured footage

Greetings everyone. I am using a GTX 780ti card, using bandicam to capture onscreen footage. There is an option in bandicam to use the new(ish) NVENC codec for capturing. I tried this and it appears Sony Vegas 13 will not import these files.

Is this just a codec that Vegas 13 does not recognize or is there something I can do to make this work?

To my knowledge, NVENC is an encoder technology for newer nVidia graphics cards, it is not a codec. The NVENC Bandicam files are h.264 but may be wrapped in a container that Vegas does not understand. Here is the Bandicam support link that discusses codec options for Vegas:
