cannot install

upgraded to vegas 23 from pro 9. I cannot get it to load. once I get to the point where I put in my s/n, i get an error page " vegas has stopped working". It has never worked! Sound forge and acid open fine. No way to contact customer support. very frustrating!

I just was able to install on older i3 windows 10 no problem. But just cannot on my newer i7 windows 10

Does the computer 'not installing ' meet minimum specs for vegas 23. Pro 9 suggests your machine might be too old. Well worth checking to save frustration.

It meets. Like I said I just installed on an old i3 windows 10 no problem, but the newer i7 will install acid, sound forge and add one no problem. It say Vegas 23 was successful but when I put in s/n, the error page comes up asking to give details and email

@studio-morris, unless you check on "Show problem details", that window means nothing other than a crash occurred. If you click on "Show problem details", it will give you some information regarding the crash that might help figure out why it crashed.

I did check show problem details but nothing I could understand. Like I said it installed on old windows 10 no problem

The above link would not open for me either in Pale Moon or Firefox (though I do not need it). It does open in MS Edge normally. I did not try Chrome.

Anyone have a clue why I cannot install Vegas 23? Soundforge and acid installed fine on new machine but not Vegas 23. But all installed find on 16 years old computer. I’ve sent error report about 5 times to Vegas but no reply. Nice!😡

Wow! Well it installed on about a minute and a half! Seems to work. Now I’ll install all the rest and see. Thank you!!! No clue why I needed a different build though when I just bought the latest version?

Thank you and I appreciate the help. But it’s odd as I purchased online, download online yet I still did not get newest version? Yet the online download version worked on old computer. You’d think newest version would have been the download when I purchased, not older

Again, B302 was a public beta build, not an official released build as it is now, today.

“ public beta build” lol I honestly don’t know what that means. I’m a studio guy. I’ve a recording studio and I’ll at times do live club recordings and film. So video is a bit outside my purview
