Cannot print to tape or preview external---> Help!!!

Not sure what happened...been using VV3 for a long time. Worked great! Upgraded to VV4 and I cannot preview on an external monitor- or print to tape from the timeline or VV4 capture utility!!!! It previews a still or wherever my cursor sits- soon as I play--monitor cuts out!!! Need your help!!! Not sure what is going on, Using Sony DSR-11. BTW.... VV3 does the same thing now

Can you preview to external with device control disabled?

You might try power cycling the deck after Vegas launches... a good while back (VV2?) some decks needed cycling a few times to get the handshake.

I had this problem from day 1 using VV3 and V4. Then I deleted all my IEEE drivers and re-installed, using the generic MS drivers instead of the TI drivers. My problem disappeared in both 3 and 4.

This only takes a few minutes and is worth a shot, at least. Hope it helps!
