Cannot view in external monitor/cannot capture

I used an OHCI compliant wirefire card. The card is
detected in Windows 98 system. However, when I connect my
jvc dvl 9500, the camera is not detected in Foundry Video
Capture. Also,
I cannot see playback when I switched to EXTERNAL MONITOR
in
Vegas Video2.0d (using the same camera device). Under the
external monitor tab, I selected the OHCI (as well as the
windows) option and the
NTSC
DV option. No luck.

Make sure that you are using the latest version of Vidcap
utility. Also make sure that you are loading the
appropriate Microsoft drivers for the capture card. There
is an OHCI document available on the update page that will
walk you through loading the device. The document is
in .pdf format and is call Troubleshooting OHCI devices.
