I’m sorry if this problem has been raised before but I am a newcomer to DVD Architect Studio. I am using version 4.5d, build 107.
I cannot get the programme to write to a +RW disc. Whenever I try, the programme stops and I get the message, ‘The drive has been reset, most likely by another application or due to a SCSI/IDE configuration problem’.
On all occasions the programme recognises the +RW status of the disc in the drive. The brands of the discs used have been HP and Philips, both 4x. Using the same drive, the programme writes OK to +R, -R and –RW discs. I have yet to try writing to a +RDL disc.
I have e-mailed Sony’s technical support about this and up to now their response has been no response. In the absence of any help from Sony, I am wondering if any experienced users of DVDAS could suggest what is causing this problem and come up with a possible solution.
In case it’s relevant, I’m running on Windows XP.
Thanking you in advance,
Graham S
