I'd like to suggest you download the trial version of Vegas Pro 11 and see how you make out.

Of course, if you filled in your system specs we'd have a better idea how to help.

I don't know about AMD, but for Intel the norm for editing HD these days is something like 3 GHz, multi-core CPU.

Also it may help to post the Mediainfo (tree view) specs of a video file you are trying to edit.

Hi,

as far as I remember, Canon MOVs were not properly handled by Vegas Pro 9. You had to use Cineform Neoscene to convert the MOVs into AVIs, priori to putting them on the timeline.

Moreover, since the D60 was released far after Vegas Pro 9, it might be that it cannot be recognized, as mentioned by PeterDuke, it might help seeing the MediaInfo output.

I have no issues with VP10 or VP11 as far as editing Canon EOS7D MOVs is concerned.
