I recently bought a Canon HV20 but I'm getting so fed up with the tape motor noise that I'm seriously considering returning it and getting a Canon HG10 instead, even with the extra pain that editing AVCHD entitles. However, I was reading the review for this camera at camcorderinfo.com and it says that "Unfortunately, Vegas is only available with Sony AVCHD camcorders, not Panasonic or Canon." I'm not sure if the writer means that Vegas comes bundled with Sony camcorders, or if it doesn't accept files from other AVCHD ones. I've had a Panasonic SD5 and Vegas takes its files just fine, but just to be on the safe side, does anybody here have an HG10 and edits its files in Vegas Pro 8?
