Canon MTS acts as catalyst for Panasonic MTS

Struggeling with 8.1 and MTS files I found this
Loading Panasonic HMC 151 MTS files gives just audio on timeline
Loading Canon HF 100 MTS files gives both audio and video.
When Canon MTS is present in project the same Panasonic MTS files loads with both audio and video and are editable!!!!
I thought that this was a work around
BUT
When I save such a Canon/Panasonic MTS project and reopen
in 8.1 - the Panasonic MTS are just audio again.
Sigh!

I don't know if M2TSPLUG.DLL is interchangeable between 8c and 8.1, but I do know that the one in 8c is a newer version. Try taking the one from 8c and putting it in 8.1 and see what happens
