Just a quick question for Canon A1 user: does Vegas 7d support the Canon A1? Does capturing and automatic scene detection work fine - any experiences here by now?

Vegas 7d does support Canon XH A1. Capturing works fine (if you remember to use Vegas internal capture utility : Options->Preterences->Video uncheck tickbox "use external video capture application" )
Scene detection , no big problems ...

No problems with the A1 here at all. Capture is smooth, no diff than DV or other HDV camcorders.

It works OK, but I find that the scene detection is a frame or 2 out. I'm using 25F so that's probably a factor.
