I tried to get a track from my cd but got an unspecified error. Also when I try to burn a disk it seems that the program doesn't recognize my burner a phillips cd rw/dvd cdd5263 on my dell inspiron 9200. How can I fix this communication problem. Thanks John
audio tracks are not directly accessible. The files you see called "track01" etc. are only pointer files pointing to hidden wav files. You need an audio ripper like Exact Audio Copy. In fact you might already have one. Vegas can rip WAV files from a CD.
Once you obtain the actual WAV file you may find that your CD burner works fine even without being officially recognized.
