Right-click audio track header > Record Inputs>input monitor>on

PJ, right click the record arm button, and turn on monitoring. It's off by default. You might need to remove the FX on the track, depending on the speed of your proc and efficiency of your system.
Also, be sure your sound card is full duplex. (most are)
Very fun music vids on your site!

thanks you guys... my new dell inspiron 9200 lapot has only mono inputs... grrrr..
why are they all doing this now? my old gateway (first laptop i got... 8-9 years ago) was a stereo in...

poopy!

ps... how come my audio cards (i have one external, the creative, extigy) has both stereo and mono monitoros.. under the right clicking the track header and choosing record inputs... its has both stereo and mono.. is that just stadard?
or is my card not working right?
get me... what i mean to say is.. if the card cant handle two tracks.. does vegas know that and take away the option for that (stereo), or does it just give stereo and mono to any and every sound card... (within vegas. rightclick, record inputs, stereo/mono)

hope that makes sense....

I can't answer that question specifically, but I have the AudigyPlat2 and there is a way for me to utilize every input on that card so that I can record 6 separate tracks altogether, at 1 time. You will have to go through your manual from Creative and maybe write to them to get the exact info. (Good luck, like most web sites, they usually don't understand what you're asking in the 1st E-mail.) Then you can set up Vegas so that each Stereo and Mono input can be separated and recorded separately in Mono. Or give each mono signal a stereo track. (Vegas Manual)
