Cant switch audio/subtitle tracks from menu on rendered BluRay

Hi, I'm working on a project that requires a subtitle track and secondary audio track for multiple videos. I added buttons on my menu to switch subtitles on/off and a separate button entirely to play the video with the secondary audio track. I've tested it a million times and I'm certain the buttons work properly in the DVD Architect Preview. However, once I rendered the iso and tried playing it in VLC neither of the tracks switched properly. Every video starts with subtitles off and audio track 1 no matter what I do. Once the video starts, I'm able to switch the tracks manually in VLC and they look and sound fine. But for my purposes, I need them to be accessible on the menu. I don't think this is a problem with VLC, it's never had this issue with this kind of thing. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have you tested it on a Bluray disk and player?

I currently do not have access to a bluray reader/writer, but I would primarily be opening it in VLC anyway so I'm not sure how much that would fix it.

Do you want your bluray to start with SUBTITLES ON and an audio track other than TRACK 1? Have you enabled that within DVDA? Can you post a screenshot of that setting in your project? VLC is not a dedicated bluray/DVD player so I don't know how much trust I would put in it, but that is just my opinion.

VLC can play blu rays that don't have encryption, so most DVDA projects/mounted ISO should play there fine.
