Is there any way to set up Vegas to capture from a DVR? I'm pretty new to all of this, but there has to be an easier way. Currently, I'm capturing video from my DVR (dish network) through Windows Media Center Edition. The files captured are dvr.ms files. Then have to convert the video, import it into Vegas and then edit it. It's taking forever to get one hour of video ready to be burned to a DVD.

Is there a way to get Vegas to capture from my DVR?
