I am currently unable to capture any media. I have tried
to save video files in several formats, and can not open
the video in Video Factory. Can someone please help me. I
am a novice and would really like to edit some of the tapes
of my children. Thanks
Do you mean you're unable to capture video from Video
Capture (the capture program that comes with VideoFactory,
accessible via the Tools menu->Open Video Capture)? Or are
you having trouble loading captured files into
VideoFactory? Are you using a DV camcorder to capture the
footage to thru an OHCI 1394 capture card?

During the testing process we were able to produce some
valid SVCD files, but we've had numerous reports of
problems with this format and at this point do not
reccommend using it. We'll be working with Ligos (makers of
the MPEG tools) and get an update out as soon as we can.
