I have a JVC GRDV800U. Last night I used the "D-Wide" mode to film an event. Did a firewire capture to VV and it did not work. Looking at file statistics it appears the video was captured in PAL Wide (780x526 25FPS).

All of the settings in VV look appropriate for NTSC. Does my camera domehow default to pal? Captured via Analog capture it works fine and gets the entire wide screen.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
