i have a panasonic nv-mx300(3ccd) and currently have the following problem
the recording is fine the playback on the lcd is fine, on tv is fine, if i playback on sony video capture 4 tool is fine (using firewire cable), its when i hit the record button it starts to record, the playback will produce a small jump(flicker) on the tape sort of like the pixels get jumbled for like a couple of frames. than goes back to normal there no actual time lenght that it does it at. if i recapture it will always do it at different times.
any suggestions on wat it may be?

Have you looked at this Knowledge Base article. Any activity going on within your computer during capture has the potential of interfering with the raw data flow you need to capture dv realtime. Darryl
