Capture problem

I'm using a new Compaq Presario Notebook, and I'm experience problems in capture mode. When I start play after the first capture, the prewiev goes black, and also no sound, i can also see that the DV camera starts but nothing on the PC. If I restart the capture mode I can capture one more clip before it goes black again. I'm using Windows XP and 2.0C version of VideoFactory.

Does anyone have a tip for me !!!!!!!!!?????????

I'm certainly not the expert but you might want to try the vcd in another dvd player. Even if you have to take it to a BestBuy or CircuitCity. It sounds like it might be your player. Try viewing the mpg in media player and see if you still have the problem.
