Hi,

I just got VV yesterday and am in the learning curve mode. I've figured out a lot so far, but one thing has me stumped. I can manually capture video just fine, and can control the deck just fine, but when I go to advanced capture I have the following problem:

I can mark in/out points, and log them, and I can hit play in/out and it works perfectly. However, when I try to capture in/out, the progress window appears, the searching for . . . appears, the deck cues up to 5 secs before start capture, the tape rolls, and continues to roll, but no video is captured. The progress indicators remain at 0 and it still tells me it is seeking the start of the clip, even though by this time it has LONG passed by the beginning of the clip.

I am using a SB Audigy Platinum ex for the IEEE card, and a Sony TRV-9 camera. NTSC. The batch capture function works perfectly with my Canopus Storm card and software, which is also installed in the same computer.

I have not downloaded the new update. Would that likely be the version I received on CD from SF, or would that be the older version?

Any ideas?
