capture problem, help please

Craziest thing I've seen in awhile. When I capture video the color is overly saturated. While previewing before before capturing the video looks fine, but as soon as I hit the capture button, the color becomes this dark over-saturated hue. Anyone know what's going on?

Is this in the capture window itself?
Does it look OK after capturing?

Are you watching the file in Vegas or something other app?

Translation: you were probably watching it in Windows Media Player which is known to NOT be a good player for judging image quality, colour, etc.

The crazy thing is that I captured some video a few days ago and it looks the same in the capture window as media player (without the over-saturated effects). This video has the same saturated look in vegas's capture window and media player. It's the first time I've experienced it.
