Hi there! i'm having kind of a problem when capturing movies from my Digital8 camcorder(sony trv250).. You see, when i playback directly from the camera to my tv, the quality seems to be very nice (720x480). But when i try to capture to the computer using vegas 4, the only two options i have are to capture in 320x240 or 640x480. The correct option should be 720x480, i suppose. I would appreciate if someone could help me! thanks

There ARE no options like that in Vegas 4 Capture. Where are you seeing that?

Capture will be at 720 x 480 for NTSC.

File -> Capture video -> Video -> Sony Digital ...

you're saying that i only need to plug the camera in the pc and start capturing? but if i do that the quality will be poor!!

It sounds to me like you are using the USB connection, or are capturing via some analog capture card. What you need to do is make sure that you are using the Firewire connection (which is also sometimes referred to as a "1394" connection). The USB connection is used for still pictures only, and the analog connections should only be used to connect to external analog devices, like VHS VCRs and television sets.
