Do you have it set to auto stop on dropped frames?

Are you batch capturing or straight capture? Is scene detection enabled or not? Do you have continuous time code? What's your minimum scene length in preferences? Darryl

1. Auto drop frames yes
2. Straight capture
3. Scene detection - no
4. Continuous time code - yes
5. Minimum scene length - 1 sec.

The problem occurred at one spot in the tape. I went back and tried to recapture and it stopped again. I dubbed the tape over by firewire and it didn't stop there but at another random place in the dubbed tape but not at the spot on the original tape. I went back to the original tape and it stopped at another random place.

Thanks for you responses

If you are PAL remove your setting, "5. Minimum scene length - 1 sec." . .CLEAR this now . . PAL has had a problem with minimum clip length. . .If you are not PAL then I don't know! Yopu couls just remove it anway to see if things improve . .
