Capture Problems Panasonic AJ-D230H

I have machine control play, FF, Rewind etc. When I mark in and out then add it to batch capture list then try to batch capture, the deck just keeps rewinding and fastfowarding and not going to the right timecode. It won't capture a clip at all.
Deck is in drop frame mode?

Panasonic decks can be a bit odd, if no one here comes up with an answer I'd say VV tech support need to know about this issue, may relate to Panasonics deck control language.
