capture problems with W2K

I am running W2K SP2 and connect my Panasonic GS400 via an OHCI compliant, 1394 DV, capture Fire Wire card. When I try to capture with Vegas 4 it always results in the message: 'no video captured'. I can use the play etc. buttons in the Vegas and I can see the preview however, and it was possible to capture but only with the 'advanced capture' ' batch capture' feature, there it even is possible to 'record to device'
What to do to make the 'normal' capture video or capture tape functions work?

Try turning OFF the "Minimum clip length" option.

WOW, this has done the trick, - after turning off the 'minimum clip lenght', which was set on only 1 sec., the capturing is working normally. Thank you so much!
