capture single frame

is there any way to select a single frame and then extend its length? kinda like if you were making a photo album where you just show one shot without any motion, just a still.

One way is to export the frame as a still image and then drop it on your timeline. You can stretch it as much as you want.

The other way is to zoom in real tight, split off that one frame you want, add a velocity envelope and set it to 0. Then you can stretch the clip out and it won't move.
