I am capturing 8mm video with a PCI card using composite. I try to capture large chunks or whole tapes at one time and the video and sound and video is out of sync. I have this problem with other capture programs but I want to use Vegas Video to capture and edit. I have reinstalled sound card drivers, capture card drivers, defragged, and I normally get zero dropped frames. Is there a way to lock the sound and video together in the capture mode or is there a way to re-sync the video and audio after the capture?
